William "Bill" O'Neill

William "Bill" O'Neill, 86, Of Livingston, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on August 20, 2023.

A Memorial Visitation will be held in Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Entombment to follow in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ.

Bill was born and raised in Orange, NJ and has resided in Livingston since 1969. He held a distinguished career as a firefighter with the City of Orange for 32 years, before his retirement in 1991.

He is the beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (nee Scareon); loving father of Joseph O'Neill, William O'Neill Jr. and his wife Eileen, LuAnne Marotta and her husband Anthony, and Darlene Bell and her husband Jason; dear brother of John Edward O'Neill: cherished grandfather of Anthony Jr., Gionna, Riley, Brianna and Alexandra and the great-grandfather of Everleigh.
