Victor L. Kolenik Obituary (1932 - 2020)

Victor L. Kolenik, 87, of West Caldwell passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2020. Born in West Leechburg, Pa, Mr. Kolenik attended the University of Tennessee, where he played football as a wide receiver with the Tennessee Volunteers. After college, he played for the Pittsburg Steelers from 1953 to 1954. Mr. Kolenik was an iron worker and a member of the with International Association of Bridge Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron Workers and employed by Bergen Pipe Support in Carlstadt for many years. After his retirement, he became involved in real estate. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Laurie Jones and her husband, Gerald; cherished grandchildren, Gerald, Alexander, Darren, Kayla and Tyler Jones; former wife, Mary Camilleri and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Carelli and brothers, John, Steven, and Joseph Kolenik. Arrangements are by Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, Caldwell, N.J.
