Rosemary Ann Joannidis

Rosemary Ann Joannidis, 67, of Verona passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

Rosemary was born in Jersey City and later moved to West Caldwell for 30 years, where she raised her family, before relocating to Verona five years ago.

She was employed as a Senior Accountant by ABC TV Network in New York City for 12 years and more recently worked as a teacher's assistant at Wilson School in West Caldwell.

Rosemary was the cherished wife of Chris Joannidis for 35 years, a devoted mother to Stephanie Joannidis and to Christine Hajjar, and her husband Nicholas, and a beloved grandmother to Elena Hajjar. She is also survived by her dear brother Richard Michalowski and his wife Janet as well as her other dear brother Donald Michalowski and many others.

She will be deeply missed by her family and many close friends whose lives she touched with love and kindness. Her warmth, generosity, and selflessness will always be remembered. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed, cherished, and deeply loved. Although she left this world too soon, she lived a wonderful and fulfilling life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, immediately followed by the inurnment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum in East Hanover.
