Rita M San Giacomo Obituary (1946 - 2022)

Rita M. San Giacomo (nee Murphy), 75, of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2022, with her family by her side. Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Avenue, Caldwell, NJ, on Sunday, May 22nd from 2-6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 23rd in St. Rose of Lima, East Hanover, NJ, at 11 AM followed by the interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Rita was a loving homemaker who will be dearly missed by her beautiful family and numerous relatives and friends. She is the beloved wife of 50 years of Henry "Hank" San Giacomo, Esq.; loving mother of sons Michael (wife Melissa) of West Caldwell, NJ, and Brian (wife Ashley) of Cedar Grove, NJ. She is also survived by beloved grandchildren Alyssa, Christian, Dominic, and Anthony. Mrs. San Giacomo is also survived by dearest siblings Kathleen Weekley, William Murphy (wife Pamela), Susan Pepe, Carol Luciano (husband Patrick), and Patricia Turcott (husband Charles), along with many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents Robert and Marion Murphy, and her sister Marion "Bunny" Stone.
