Paul M. Ianiro, Jr. Obituary (1928 - 2018)

Paul M. Ianiro, Jr. 90, of West Orange, N.J., passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 from 3 to 8 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, West Orange, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at 10 a.m., followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Born in Orange and a resident of West Orange for 58 years, Mr. Ianiro was the president of Paul Ianiro Contractors in Orange for 59 years before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, where he served as an usher, and a member of Secular Augustinian Recollects. An Army veteran, Mr. Ianiro was a member of the American Legion Post 319 in Maplewood, N.J. The beloved husband of 64 years to Carmela (nee Freda) Ianiro, he was the loving father of James and his wife, Cindy, Carl and his wife, Myrtle, and Mildred Ianiro and the late Paul III; dear brother of the late Beatrice Tortoriello, Anne Strumolo, and Carl and Anthony Ianiro, and cherished grandfather of Paul Anthony, Carl William, James, Cora, Nicole, Michelle, Samuel and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
