Pasqualina Finelli

Mrs. Pasqualina Finelli, 91, died on Friday, October 23, 2026, in Livingston, NJ.

Visiting will be held at the Dancy Funeral Home, 9 Smull Avenue, Caldwell, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael's Church, 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, on Thursday, October 29, at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Born and raised in Alberona, Italy, Mrs. Finelli met and married her beloved husband, Salvatore, in their hometown, where they began their life together and raised their family. In 1972, they immigrated to the United States with their children, settling in West Orange, where she made her home for more than 50 years before recently moving to Society House in Livingston.

Mrs. Finelli was a skilled electrical technician with extensive experience working on circuit boards. Throughout her career, she worked for several companies, including ExxonMobil in Florham Park. She was also a longtime parishioner of St. Raphael's Church in Livingston.

Above all, Mrs. Finelli cherished time spent with family and friends, especially when gathered around the table enjoying her homemade Italian cooking. She took great pride in preparing traditional dishes, including homemade sausage and wine, and delighted in sharing the recipes and customs of her Italian heritage with younger generations. Making homemade pasta was more than a tradition; it was an opportunity to bring family together and pass along a little piece of Alberona to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Finelli was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore Finelli; her son, Leonardo Finelli; and her daughter-in-law, Giovanna Finelli.

She is survived by her loving children, Raymond Finelli, his wife Elizabeth and Anna Maria Sindoni, her husband Francis; cherished grandchildren, Lina Nevoso and husband Chris, Salvio Finelli and wife Erica, Josie Finelli, Michael Sindoni and wife Mariam, Christina Ciocca and husband Henry, Anthony Finelli and Angela Finelli; adored great-grandchildren, Oliver, Clara, Gianluca, Francesca and Henry; and her dear brother, Angelo Leone.
