Lucia D'Andrea

Mrs. Lucia D'Andrea (nee Palumbo), 81, of Orange, N.J., passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. The Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Orange, N.J., on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 10 a.m., followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum in East Hanover, N.J.

Born in Alberona, Italy, Mrs. D'Andrea was a resident of Orange for 45 years.

She was employed in the housekeeping department of St. Mary's Hospital and later Orange Memorial Hospital before retiring in 2003.

The beloved wife of 57 years to Tommaso D'Andrea, she was the loving mother of Antonietta Papa and her husband Allen, Maria Solano and her husband, Frank, Michelina D'Andrea-Tamberelli and her husband, Martin Ramirez, Leonardo D'Andrea and his wife, Ivanna, Adriano D'Andrea and his wife, Daniella and Massimo D'Andrea and his wife, Rachael; beloved sister of, Giovanni Palumbo, Rocchino Zizza and the late Carlo Palumbo and Francesco Palumbo; and cherished grandmother of Ariana, Nikole, Savannah, Owen, Dawson, Georgia, Luca, Rocco, Anthony, Jordana, Jesse and the late Kayla.
