Lucia Attalla (nee Spadone)

Lucia Attalla (nee Spadone), 94, of Bethlehem, Pa., a former resident of Fairfield, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., March 14, 2020, Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., immediately followed by the Mass at St. Thomas More Church, 210 Horseneck Rd., Fairfield, NJ 07004.

Born in Newark, N.J., Lucia was a resident of Fairfield for 58 years, before moving to Bethlehem, Pa.

She was employed by the West Essex Board of Education at West Essex High School for 30 years.

The beloved wife of the late Tofic Attalla, she was the loving mother of Gary Attalla and his wife, Nancy, Yvonne Attalla, Renee Gratale and her husband, Dominic, and Mark Attalla and his wife, Charlotte, cherished grandmother of Julie, Lindsay, Rebecca, Genesis Nicolle; adored great-grandmother of Amelia Lucia and Olive Jean, and dear sister of Dolores Milano, Marie Ferrara and the late Rosalie Genco, Joan Carrano and Joanne McArdle. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
