Lucene Camille Vendola Obituary (1949 - 2025)

Lucene Camille Vendola (Manganello) of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at the age of 75. Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10 AM to 1 PM, immediately followed by the Funeral Service and Words of Remembrance at 1 PM. Interment to follow the service in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Lucene was a pioneer in the trucking industry as the first woman to hold a position in sales. She worked for over 40 years before retiring in 2012. Lucene loved shopping, gardening, boat rides, and listening to music on her deck. No matter where she was she was always singing and dancing. However, nothing could compare to the love she had for her granddaughter, Gabriella. Lucene is survived by her husband of 51 years Douglas; her daughter Vanessa, (son-in-law Jason), and their daughter Gabriella; She was pre-deceased by her parents, Joseph A., Sr. and Antoinette Manganello and her brother, Joseph A.
