Louis J. Lombardi

Louis J. Lombardi, of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 65.

Visitation will be held in Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell on Wednesday, November 15th from 5-8 PM.

The Funeral Mass will be held in Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell on Thursday, November 16th at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.

Mr. Lombardi was born in Passaic, NJ and resided in Lyndhurst for many years before settling in West Caldwell for the past 37 years.

He was employed as Salesman and Customer Service Representative for the 3M corporation for many years before retiring.

Louis was a jack of all trades, with specialties in woodworking, stained glass, clock repair, tile, and many more. Louis was known to be able to fix anything, and often selflessly volunteered to help others. He was a prolific storyteller and family man, and channeled both through his love of scouting, which he shared with his two sons.

Louis is the beloved husband of 36 years of Grace Ann Zizza Lombardi; loving father of Joseph Gerard Lombardi, Louis Rocco Lombardi, and his fiancee Lindsay; dear brother of Concetta Sciolaro and her husband Darwin; cherished uncle of Valerie and Jennifer Sciolaro; nephew of Vincent Piacenti and Patricia Gatto; he is also survived by several loving cousins and friends, as well as his pet pug Petunia, who gave him great joy.
