Katherine S. Burrell

Katherine S. Burrell (nee Saporito), 99, of West Orange, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 103 South Center St., Orange, on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at 10 a.m., where a funeral mass will be offered. The entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.

Arrangements are by Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, Caldwell, N.J.

Born in Orange, Mrs. Burrell was a resident of West Orange for many years.

She had a long career as an executive secretary with Bell Telephone in Newark before retiring.

Mrs. Burrell was the loving wife of the late Robert Burrell and dear mother of Charles Burrell. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Katherine was the beloved daughter of Charles and Lucy (Pilato) Saporito.
