Karen Lynne Dolnik, 45, North Caldwell, NJ (1979-2024)
Karen Dolnik, adored Mother, sadly left our world suddenly on October 18, 2024. Karen grew up in West Caldwell and for the last ten years called North Caldwell her home. Karen graduated from The Morristown Beard School '97 and Lafayette College in 2001. She was the President of Dolnik Management Corp and spent her career helping those less fortunate.
She will be eternally missed by her two surviving children, James (11) and Kennedy (9). Karen lit up every room she walked into; she was the life of the party and was always in good spirits. She loved hard, laughed loudly, cared deeply and lived each day as if it were her last. She had a sincere interest in all-things sports and enthusiastically watched and cheered her children on from the sidelines. She was so very proud of her children in everything that they did from the sport fields to the classroom to creative art projects. She will forever be remembered as an adoring mother and ardent supporter of those she loved, both family and friends. Karen will be missed, but her legacy will live on through stories and memories by those of the lives she touched.
Karen was preceded in death by her father; whom she treasured, James H. Dolnik, and is survived by her mother Mary C. Dolnik; her sisters Tricia (John) Mac Evoy and Kelly (Brian) Mazzei and brother Tim (Jessi) Dolnik. Karen was the adored aunt by her 13 nieces and nephews and her light will continue to shine on through them with countless memories: Jack, Finn, Molly, Kylie, William, Emma Clare, Patrick, Charlie, Cassi, Hattie, Andrew, John and Nicholas. Moreover, she will be deeply missed by innumerable lifelong friends and acquaintances, all of whom she considered family.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Paul Ippolito- Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Avenue, Caldwell, NJ. The funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11 am at Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell.
