Julia S. Sessing

Julia S. Sessing (nee Scardaville), of East Hanover, NJ passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 85.

Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Sunday, August 20th from 2-6 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 21st in St. Rose of Lima Church, East Hanover, NJ at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Julia was born in Newark, NJ and resided in East Hanover for over 50 years. After graduating from Montclair State University, she taught in the Livingston School System and later worked at Bell Laboratories in Morristown, NJ. She was an avid reader and lifelong learner and lovingly passed on her enthusiasm for history and the arts to her sons.

She was the beloved mother of Christopher and Mark Sessing (Caitie McCarthy and grandson Conor Sessing). She was pre-deceased by her parents, Salvatore and Mary (nee Lataro) and her siblings, Anthony Scardaville and twin-sister Kathleen (who died of leukemia at the age of 17).
