John A. Petrillo

John A. Petrillo, of Bloomfield, NJ passed away on August 8, 2019 at the age of 80.

Visiting will be held at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Monday, August 12th from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 13th at 10 AM with the entombment to follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.

Mr. Petrillo was born in Orange, NJ and has been a resident of Bloomfield, NJ most of his life.

He was a self employed car dealer and owner of Hogan Auto Sales in Harrison, NJ for many years before his retirement.

John was well known and respected as a long time member of the Italian-American Club where he kept his Orange roots. HIs #1 love, besides cars, was watching and keeping score at the numerous baseball games he attended each year. He was truly a "member" of each team and will be missed by his baseball families.

He is the beloved father of John Petrillo and his wife Susan, Jim Petrillo and his wife Rachel and Jodi Petrillo; dear brother of Anthony Petrillo; cherished grandfather of Danny, Mandy and James. He was pre-deceased b y his parents, Anthony and Lena (nee Galento) Petrillo and his brothers, Frank and Joseph Sauchelli.
