John J. DeGennaro

John J. DeGennaro, 72, of Toms River passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2002.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, immediately followed by the service at the funeral home.

Born in Orange, Mr. DeGennaro lived in West Orange for many years before moving to Toms River 12 years ago.

He was employed by Essex County Hospital in Cedar Grove as an occupational therapist for many years.

Mr. DeGennaro was a talented musician, who played multiple instruments and loved rock and country music.

The beloved son of the late Victor and Dorothy DeGennaro, he was the loving brother of Victor DeGennaro and his wife, Cindee, and cherished uncle of Donna DeGennaro and Matthew DeGennaro. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
