Henry Romano

–

Verona, New Jersey

Henry Romano, a devoted family man, skilled contractor, and loyal friend, passed away surrounded by the love of those who meant the most to him.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Henry spent his early years there before attending high school in Livingston, NJ. Later, he settled in Verona, NJ with his beloved wife, JoAnn, whom he met through mutual friends. Together they built a life grounded in love, dedication, and family.

Henry was a talented contractor who proudly operated his own business for many years. He was known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the pride he took in every project he completed. Whether on a job site or at home, Henry could always be found tinkering with something—if it needed fixing, he was the one to fix it.

Outside of work, Henry loved spending time with his family. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, enjoying a good meal and watching his favorite movies, The Godfather I & II and re-runs of Blue Bloods. As long as Henry had his family by his side, he was a happy man.

Henry is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn, his loving daughter, Andrea Romano; his cherished granddaughter, Isabella; his niece and nephew, Marlo and DeeDee Montanaro; and his grand-nephew/godson, Victor. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henry’s memory to The Tim Tebow Foundation.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Services for Henry were private.
