Francesco Procopio

Francesco Procopio passed away peacefully at his home on October 30th, 2024, at the age of 89.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at Notre Dame Church, 359 Central Ave, North Caldwell, NJ, immediately followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum, East Hanover.

Born in Satriano, Catanzaro, Italy, Mr. Procopio settled in Belleville where he lived for many years before moving to Caldwell in 2005.

He was employed by the Celentano Brothers Co.in Verona, NJ, as a machine operator for 20 years before retiring.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Teresa Lentini Procopio. He will be forever loved and cherished by his three children, Elisabetta Corasaniti and her husband Luigi, Josephine Procopio, and Joseph Procopio and his wife Lisa. Along with his eight grandchildren: Alessandra, Domenico, Adriana, Valentina, Daniela, Christina, Amanda, and Juliana. He was the devoted brother of Giuseppe Procopio, Pietro Procopio, Caterina Sinopoli, Teresina Petrolo, the late Raffaela Procopio and Vittorio Procopio.

His unwavering love for his family, magnetic charisma, and gentle spirit will be admired and remembered by all who knew him.
