Dr. Ralph Theodore "Ted" Moore, DMD, 81, of North Caldwell, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 2 to 5 p.m. A prayer service and words of remembrance will be held at 4 p.m. For directions or to send the family condolences please visit www.ippolitofuneralhomes.com Born in Darby, Pa., Dr. Moore was a resident of West Orange for many years before moving to North Caldwell. A 1964 graduate of Villanova University, he earned his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1968. Dr. Moore had private practice in Roseland specializing in general dentistry for many years before retiring. He was also a Dental Malpractice Expert. Dr. Moore was past president and member of the West Essex Dental Association, and a member of the Essex County Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and Seattle Study Club. He proudly served as a Captain in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW of Caldwell. The beloved husband of 31 years to Dr. Jacqueline (nee Riedinger) Moore, he was the loving father of Kevin Moore, and Dr. Jason Moore and wife, Dr. Tracy Moore; cherished stepfather of Michelle Mazzucco Gioioso and husband, Dr. Scott Gioioso, Robert Mazzucco and wife, Patricia Moran Mazzucco, and cherished grandfather of Vivienne Moore, Jonathan Moore, Ryan Moore, Olivia Moore, Kyle Moore, Lucy Gioioso, Ralph Gioioso, Mackenzie Mazzucco, and Joseph Mazzucco.
