Doris May Swenson

Doris May Swenson (nee MacCormack), 97, of Hackettstown, N.J., formerly of West Caldwell passed away on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019.

Visiting will be Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019 at 10 a.m. Restland Memorial Park, 77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover, NJ

Born in Kearny, N.J., Mrs. Swenson lived in Roxbury and West Caldwell before moving to Hackettstown many years ago. Doris was employed as a retail buyer for 20 years at J.M. Towne and Company in Caldwell. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold in 2012 to whom she was married for 66 years.

Surviving are her loving children Kenneth Swenson and his wife Cynthia, and daughter Marilyn Blickens, and much-loved grandchildren Shevaun and her husband Jeffrey, Dallin and his wife Stefi, Ryan and her great grandson Luke.
