D. Nicholas Vitale Obituary (1929 - 2023)

D. Nicholas Vitale, 93, of West Caldwell, N.J., passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 25, 2023. A Memorial Service will take place on July 22, 2023 at 12:00 at Cranes Mill, 459 Passaic Avenue, West Caldwell, NJ in Hinman Hall. Mr. Vitale was born in Schenectady, N.Y., Mr. Vitale was a chemical engineer for General Foods in the Maxwell House Division for many years before retiring. The beloved husband of 72 years to Louise (nee DeLorenzo) Vitale, he was the father of Paul (Susan) Vitale, Francis Vitale, John (James Spindler) Vitale, and Thomas (Jama) Vitale, and brother of Robert Vitale and his wife the late Susan Bayerd, late Joseph Ralph Vitale and his wife, the late Anne Vitale and the late Elizabeth Vitale. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Claudia Vitale and Luca Vitale, and many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews.
