Concetta DeRose

Mrs. Concetta DeRose, 78, of Little Falls, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Visiting will be held at the Dancy Funeral Home, 9 Smull Avenue, Caldwell, NJ, on Sunday, February 8, from 2 to 5 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Aloysius Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, on Monday at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.

Born and raised in Luzzi, Italy, Concetta immigrated to the United States to join her beloved husband of 55 years, Alfredo DeRose, Sr. Together, they built a home and a life in Yonkers, NY, before moving to New City in 1988. In 2016, they moved to Little Falls, NJ to be closer to their beloved children.

Concetta was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who took immense pride in caring for her family and creating a loving home rooted in tradition. Her greatest joy was raising her sons, and later, spending cherished time with her five grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life.

Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. Concetta maintained a deep devotion to Saint Padre Pio, Saint Francis, and Saint Anthony, and she carried her beliefs into her daily life with quiet strength and consistency.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alfredo DeRose, Sr.

Concetta is survived by her loving sons, Alfredo DeRose, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, and Anthony DeRose and his wife, Alisa; and her cherished grandchildren, ToniAnn, Michael, Isabella, Ava, and Tyler.
