Christopher Gamba

Christopher Gamba, 59, longtime resident of Coral Springs , Florida, passed away from natural causes on July 15,2022.

A celebration of Chris's life will be held on September 17, 2022 at 6:30 pm, on the beach just north of the Pompano Beach Pier at the end of Atlantic Blvd. All are welcome.

Born in Orange New Jersey to parents John C Gamba and Helen (Paris) Gamba, Christopher was #6 of seven brothers. He lived in West Orange N.J. for the early years of his life before relocating to Coral Springs in 1978 with his parents and his younger brother Dean. Chris completed his education in Florida graduating from Coral Springs HS class of 1981.

After graduation Chris returned to New Jersey to work in a family business, Shim-Pak Industries as shop foreman. While back in Jersey Chris became a member of the Shepherds Rugby Club which he enjoyed for many years and made many lasting friendships. In 1997 he moved back to Florida where he worked different jobs. In 2002 Chris was hired as a Street Technician for the Department of Public works, Coral Springs, FL. He worked his way up to Equipment Operator before retiring in 2016.

One of Chris's favorite things was when family members would come to visit from New Jersey for Thanksgiving and Easter. He always enjoyed helping prepare the meals with his mom, brothers, sister in laws and nieces and nephews.

After his father passed away in 2003 Chris devoted his life to caring for his mother until her passing in 2016. Chris will always be remembered as a kind and caring person who would always be there to help at any time. May he rest in peace with the Lord.

Christopher is predeceased by his parents John and Helen and brother Michael. Chris is survived by his brothers John, Jeff, Greg, Ralph and Dean, also his favorite Uncle Austin Paris, Aunt Nancy, sister in laws Fran, Suzanne and Linda and many cousins and nieces and nephews.
