Carmela "Millie" DeAngelis Obituary (1925 - 2022)

Carmela "Millie" DeAngelis, 96, of West Orange, N.J. passed away on April 12, 2022. Born and raised in Orange, N.J, Millie was a resident of West Orange for many years She was an avid Yankee fan, bingo player, Atlantic City enthusiast and a great cook. Considerate and patient rounded out the woman that she was. The wife of the late Gennaro DeAngelis, she was the loving mother of Gerald DeAngelis, Karen DeAngelis, Faye (Joseph) Guerriero, Nicholas DeAngelis, the late Camille DeAngelis and Lewis DeAngelis. Millie was the cherished grandmother of Dia, Alexus and Jenna DeAngelis. She also leaves three devoted nieces, Nicole, Phyllis and Connee. She was predeceased by her late loving sister Rose Mangina. A private memorial visitation was held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J. Immediately followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.
