Carlotta F. Mayer

Carlotta F. Mayer of North Caldwell, NJ passed away on July 3, 2019 at the age of 86.Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Monday, July 8th from 4-8 PM. The Funeral Service will be held in St. Agnes Episcopal Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9th. Interment to follow in Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY. Mrs. Mayer was born in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ and resided in North Caldwell, NJ since 1976.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education, from The College of New Jersey and was employed for many years as first and second grade teacher in The Cresskill, NJ School System.

Carlotta was well known and loved by many in the St. Agnes Church community where she was a very active member as a volunteer for the food pantry, as well as teaching Sunday school for many years. She will be fondly remembered as the coordinator of her church "Coffee Hour." Carlotta was an avid reader. She also loved making specialty meals and desserts for the "Gourmet Club" as well as for her family.

Her greatest joy was being in the company of her cherished family and friends. Carlotta is the beloved wife of the late Robert Mayer; loving mother of Robert Mayer, Leigh Kessler and her husband Bob, and David Mayer; dear sister of Henrietta Spry and her husband Jim, Florence Ward and her late husband Phillip and the late Thomas Bullen; cherished grandmother of Andrew, Cathryn and Corinne Kessler and Eli and Rory Mayer.
