Antoinette "Toni" DeFilippis

Mrs. Antoinette C. "Toni" DeFilippis, 84, of West Caldwell, N.J. passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020.

Born in Jersey City, Mrs. DeFilippis was a resident of West Caldwell since 1964.

A graduate of Jersey City State Teachers College, Mrs. DeFilippis taught at Roosevelt Elementary School in West Caldwell and later East Orange High School before retiring.

Mrs. DeFilippis was an active parishioner of St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell, and volunteered at St. John's Soup Kitchen in Newark, and with the West Caldwell Friends of the Library.

She loved spending her time with her family and friends at the Jersey Shore and will be missed by all.

The beloved wife of 61 years to Carl W. DeFilippis, she was the loving mother of Dr. Don DeFilippis and his wife, Heather, and John DeFilippis and his wife, Laurie; dear sisters, Anne Romaniw and Rose Lubin, and cherished grandmother of Isabella, Cole, Ava and David DeFilippis. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
