Anne Marie Calabria

Mrs. Anne Marie Calabria died peacefully at her home in Caldwell, NJ, on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Visiting will be held at the Dancy Funeral Home, 9 Smull Avenue, Caldwell, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 3 to 7 PM.

Born and raised in Newark, Mrs. Calabria spent much of her life in West Orange, where a chance encounter on a bus led her to the love of her life, Michael R. Calabria, Sr., who happened to be the driver. The two married and made their home in West Orange, where they raised their family and shared 40 happy years together.

Mrs. Calabria worked for many years in the West Orange public school cafeterias, where as the Manager, she helped feed and care for generations of students. Following the passing of her beloved husband, she moved to Marian Manor in Caldwell, where her warm personality and outgoing spirit made her a vibrant and cherished member of the community.

Above all, Mrs. Calabria was devoted to her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews. Her love for family was the center of her life, and she treasured every opportunity to be together.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years, Michael R. Calabria, Sr., and her brothers, Russell Giordano and Gerald Giordano.

Mrs. Calabria is survived by her loving children, Michael R. Calabria, Jr. (Maria) and Dana Waldron (William); cherished grandchildren, Melissa Calabria, Jason Calabria, Kevin Calabria, Kara Calabria, Faith Waldron and Billy Waldron; and many loving nieces and nephews.
