Anna D. Dallavalle

Retired educator Anna D. Dallavalle, 89, of North Caldwell, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 11 AM followed by the interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Mrs. Dallavalle grew up in Newark until moving to North Caldwell.She received her Bachelors degree from Rutgers University and then her Master's Degree from Seton Hall university.

She was employed by the Cedar Grove Board of education as a 3rd grade teacher and later a media specialist at Ridge Road School before retiring in 1990.

Anna had an enthusiasm for life. She loved teaching, traveling, going to the theater, dancing, singing and recording everything in pictures and video.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Till Dallavalle and son-in-law John DiQuarto. Surviving are her loving children, Diana DiQuarto and Til Francis Dallavalle and his wife, Kathy; cherished grandchildren, Til Joseph Dallavalle and his wife, Melanie, Kelly Fernandez and her husband , Adam, and Colleen Petrick and her husband , William; two adored great-granddaughters Evelyn and Ryan and her dear sister Angela Loia and brother-in-law, Frank Loia.
