Angela Scro

Mrs. Angela M. Scro (nee Apice) of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on April 23, 2020, at the age of 97.

Private funeral services are under the direction of Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, Caldwell, NJ.

Mrs. Scro was born and raised in Newark, NJ and has been a resident of West Caldwell for many years.

During World War II, she worked as an assembler of water purifiers for the Army. She then worked for many years as a sales clerk for Grants Dept. Store, a buyer and sales clerk for Bradlee's Dept. Store, clerk for Twin Method Dry Cleaners in Verona, before retirement.

Angela is the beloved mother of Richard A. Scro and Charlotte Erskine; sister of Yolanda Candore, and grandmother of Kristen Gardner.

She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Anthony Scro; her brother and sisters Antoinette Freda, Paula Petronella, Dolores Loboda, Anna Calderone, Angelo Apice, and Lucy Greene.
