Amelia "Emily" Guerrieri Obituary (1934 - 2024)

Amelia "Emily" Guerrieri (nee Viscito), 89, of Roseland, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J. The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, immediately followed by the interment at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Born in Newark, daughter of the late Vito and Carmella Viscito, Mrs. Guerrieri was a resident of Orange, N.J., before moving to Roseland in 1967. Emily was an avid bowler and enjoyed the NJ shore with her family and childhood friends Dolly, Gilda, Rosetta, and Arlene. She loved watching the Yankees, the Giants and TCM classic movies. As well as listening to her favorite crooners Frank Sinatra and Vic Damone. Widowed at the age of 32 she went on to raise her two toddlers and an infant with strength and grace. If anyone could have handled that situation, it was Emily. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Guerrieri, and dear brothers and sisters Louis, Michael, Ralph, Anthony, Raymond, Theresa, Edith and Nicoletta. She is survived by her loving children Anthony, Gia and Michael and her cherished grandchildren, Andreas, Isaiah, Mathieu, Bethany, Nicoletta, Quinton, Mason, Jared, Demi, Autumn, Ellia and Pier. She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
