Al Del Vento

Mr. Alexander Del Vento died on Sunday, November 1, 2026 in Livingston, NJ. He was 59 years old.

All are invited to meet at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 103 South Center Street, Orange on Monday, November 9 for a Funeral Mass to be offered at 10 am. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Born in Orange, Al grew up in West Orange and graduated from West Orange High School in 1985 and Seton Hall University in 1989. He went on to have a long career as a Special Education teacher for the NJ Regional Day School in Newark. Al was a kind man, always looking for ways to help others and spread joy wherever he went. He had a special relationship with his sister, Lori, always looking out for her welfare and happiness. Al had a great sense of humor with the timinig of a stand-up comic, his witty remarks quietly added to conversations would send everyone into fits of laughter. Al was a life-long Yankee fan and an avid supporter of all sports. He loved sharing his love of sports with his son, Alex. He loved Karaoke, highlighting Frank Sinatra tunes, at each perfformance. Al was a man of strong faith and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Al is survived by his parents, Alexander & Paula Del Vento; his son, Alex Del Vento and his Sister, Lori Del Vento.
